The mission of Spirit Rising Productions is to use all forms of technology and media to inspire, uplift and entertain humanity worldwide.
Although we primarily work on our own productions, we also produce, promote, market and publicize events, books, movies, websites, companies and projects that are aligned with our mission.
Spirit Rising Productions supports The United Nations Global Compact and The Earth Charter, and is run by the triple bottom line of conscious business: economic prosperity, environmental protection and social equity. We utilize universal principles and principles of conscious capitalism in every aspect of business.
Spirit Rising Productions, a privately-held company, was started by Brent N. Hunter in 2000.
Brent Hunter is a Master Certified Knowledge Manager and is a Project, Program, Portfolio and Knowledge Management Executive Consultant. Brent has multiple advanced degrees, is a graduate of General Electric's fast-track Information Systems Management Program and holds twelve active professional certifications. Brent is an entrepreneur, producer, executive producer, former psychotherapist, National Certified Counselor and is an award-winning author of five books regarding the subjects of Knowledge Management, psychology and universal wisdom. One of Brent's books, The Rainbow Bridge: Bridge to Inner Peace and to World Peace, is about universal wisdom and has received 22 literary awards. It has been endorsed by the Dalai Lama, NY Times bestselling authors, doctors, attorneys, Ambassadors, Astronauts, Olympians and an Academy award-winning actor.
Brent has helped produce films by independent artists, with 152 producer credits on IMDB.
Dea Shandera-Hunter is a highly regarded and seasoned entertainment creative executive having served tenures over twenty years at Paramount Pictures, The Walt Disney Company and MGM. Her most recent post was Executive Vice President of Worldwide Marketing for MGM Television.
After leaving the studios she has consulted in every area of the entertainment and communications businesses from publicity to production through distribution for books, products, films and television. Some of her clients have included Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, Gener8Xion Entertainment, Waterside Productions, MGM, Trifecta Entertainment and Media, Rocky Mountain Pictures, Universal Music, and authors James Redfield, Dannion Brinkley, William Gladstone, Neale Donald Walsh, Michael Beckwith, Temple Hayes and others.
